Naturism at its best under a blue sky. Costa Natura is the naturist resort providing the ideal setting for a naturist holiday for the whole family.
Costa Natura is a village dedicated to the naturist lifestyle. Built in the early 1980’s, it was the first official naturist resort in Spain. Nowadays, with its established clientele and owners, it is one of the friendliest family naturist resorts you can find in Europe.
Costa Natura is an Andalucian naturist village on the edge of the Mediterranean. It is situated on the Costa del Sol, approximately 84 kilometres from Malaga Airport, 42 kilometres from Gibraltar Airport and only 3 kilometres to the west of Estepona, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, all of which makes it an ideal naturist holiday venue.
Sitting directly on the public, naturist beach of Arroyo Vaquero, Costa Natura looks like one of the typical «White» villages which can be found all over southern Spain. It consists of over 200 privately owned apartments and studios, each with its own character, set in undulating gardens filled with lawns, palm trees and Mediterranean plants providing wonderful colour and scents. The direct access to the 740 m long beach is next to Renato’s kiosk. On most days it is possible to see along the Mediterranean coastline to Gibraltar and the African coastline beyond.
Although with a typically Andalusian design, Costa Natura is an international village, with residents from all over Europe, including Germany, France, Scandinavia, Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain.
Costa Natura enjoys a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which explains why it was among the 10 best naturist resorts in Europe in 2011.
Costa Natura is suitable for families or couples. It provides children’s entertainment during the summer. When the winter months come, Costa Natura has a club-like, relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to meet fellow naturists.
Estepona enjoys a typical Mediterranean weather, with warm temperatures most of the year. The average temperature is 17º. In winter the temperature is not lower than 10º and in summer it can rise up to 38º or 40º. Visitors can enjoy hot summers with cooling sea breezes, mild winters and pleasant spring and autumn weather again ideal for the naturist lifestyle.
Costa Natura offers a wide range of facilities for naturist holidays on the Costa del Sol, including a large 22 metre solar heated outdoor swimming pool, a smaller children’s pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The swimming pool is heated throughout the year, the sauna and Jacuzzi are open the whole year too. There is also an international restaurant, The Brasserie at Costa Natura, overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean sea. It has been recently refurbished and offers a menu card to suit everybody. Here you will find entertainment most weekends of the year. This includes evening shows, karaoke and fun evenings.
A beach bar, Renato’s Kiosk, provides snacks, ice cream, light meals, beers, wine and cocktails. It opens daily at midday from February through November. Opposite the Kiosk there is a children’s play area.
This naturist resort also offers laundry facilities, and recreational activities such as table tennis, a petanque pitch, volleyball court, a library, and yoga classes.
Parking is freely available on the complex. You can find plenty of parking outside if the parking area inside is full. There is a taxi stand and bus stop right by the front entrance.
Just across the road, two big supermarkets -Mercadona and Aldi- meet your shopping needs. You can also find a Carrefour hypermarket on the other side of Estepona, just 6 kilometres away.
Costa Natura is a purpose-built naturist resort. Both visitors and residents enjoy the freedom of being naturist and particularly the right to move freely throughout the grounds without clothes. It is considered normal in the public spaces, such as the restaurant, kiosk bar and sunbathing lawns. It is strictly compulsory in the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the sauna.
No photography is allowed without the consent of those involved.
There are two international airports which one can fly into near the resort. Gibraltar Airport is the closest at a distance of forty kilometres.
A further gateway to Costa Natura is Malaga International Airport which is eighty kilometres away.
You can always get an airport transfer if you don’t intend on leaving the complex. However, we suggest you rent a car from Málaga Airport and use the toll motorway Autopista AP-7 (also called Autopista del Mediterráneo) for an easy drive.
The Brasserie Costa Natura is the exquisitely decorated onsite restaurant and bar at Costa Natura overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean Sea from its sunny terraces. Enjoy comfortable seating in a chilled out ambiance surrounded by breath taking views of the sea. From your morning coffee to a relaxing dinner, the Brasserie Restaurant has your culinary needs covered with a friendly attentive service. It serves a variety of international cuisine with great food to please everyone including the kids. Various entertainment is laid on at the Brasserie Restaurant. In high season there is always live music on Saturday and Wednesday evenings, plus a DJ every Monday. The restaurant also hosts different theme nights throughout the year.
At the other end of the complex, next to the petanque court, Wanda and Edgar welcome you at Renato’s Kiosk. It offers a good range of snacks, sandwiches and salads. There is also a different tapa every day, known as the “Tapa del Día”. You can also enjoy a great selection of beers, soft and long drinks, cocktails and coffee.
Come over and sit at one of the tables at this favourite meeting place and have a drink or a snack, talk or watch the petanque games while you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful seaviews.

Sweating from sauna use helps to remove toxins from your body and makes your immune system stronger. By opening up your pores saunas help to detox metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium. Sauna use also helps to remove alcohol, nicotine, sodium, sulphuric acid and lower cholesterol levels. When your body heat is raised in a sauna endorphines are produced which help relieve insomnia and stress.
Having a jacuzzi offers not only a pleasant experience, but also a lot of benefits for your health. A jacuzzi sesión relieves stress and favours the complete relaxation of your body. For this reason, sitting in a jacuzzi is a good idea for anybody who wants to improve his / her welfare.
