Costa Natura is an Andalusian naturist village on the edge of the Mediterranean. It is located on the Costa del Sol, approximately 84 kilometers from Malaga airport, 42 kilometers from Gibraltar airport and only 3 kilometers west of Estepona on the Spanish Costa del Sol, all of which makes it an ideal place for a naturist vacation.
Sitting directly on the public naturist beach of Arroyo Vaquero, Costa Natura looks like one of the typical “white” villages that can be found throughout southern Spain. It consists of more than 200 privately owned apartments and studios, each with its own character, set in rolling gardens filled with lawns, palm trees and Mediterranean plants that provide wonderful colors and scents. Direct access to the 740 m long beach is next to Renato’s kiosk. Most days it is possible to see along the Mediterranean coast to Gibraltar and the African coast beyond.
Although typically Andalusian in design, Costa Natura is an international village, with residents from all over Europe, including Germany, France, Scandinavia, Great Britain, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain.
Costa Natura enjoys a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which explains why in 2011 it was one of the top 10 naturist resorts in Europe.
Costa Natura is suitable for families or couples. It offers children’s entertainment during the summer. When the winter months arrive, Costa Natura has a relaxed, club-like atmosphere, making it easy to meet other naturists.
Estepona enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with warm temperatures most of the year. The average temperature is 17º. In winter the temperature does not drop below 10º and in summer it can rise up to 38º or 40º. Visitors can enjoy hot summers with refreshing sea breezes, mild winters and pleasant spring and autumn weather, again ideal for the naturist lifestyle.
Costa Natura offers a wide range of facilities for naturist vacations on the Costa del Sol, including a large 22-meter outdoor solar-heated swimming pool, a smaller children’s pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. The pool is heated all year round, the sauna and Jacuzzi are also open all year round. There is also an international restaurant, The Brasserie at Costa Natura, overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean Sea. It has been recently refurbished and offers a menu to suit all tastes. Here you will find entertainment most weekends of the year. This includes evening shows, karaoke and fun evenings.
A beach bar, Renato’s Kiosk, offers snacks, ice cream, light meals, beers, wines and cocktails. It is open daily at noon from February to November. In front of the Kiosk there is a children’s play area.
This naturist resort also offers laundry facilities and recreational activities such as table tennis, bocce court, volleyball court, library and yoga classes.
Parking is available free of charge at the resort. You can find plenty of parking outside if the indoor parking area is full. There is a cab stand and bus stop right next to the main entrance.
Across the street, two large supermarkets-Mercadona and Aldi-satisfy your shopping needs. You can also find a Carrefour hypermarket on the other side of Estepona, just 6 kilometers away.
Costa Natura is a specially designed naturist complex. Both visitors and residents enjoy the freedom of being naturist and, in particular, the right to move freely around the grounds without clothing. It is considered normal in the public areas, such as the restaurant, the kiosk bar and the grassy areas for sunbathing. It is strictly mandatory in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.
Photography is not permitted without the consent of those involved.
There are two international airports that can be flown into near the resort. Gibraltar airport is the closest at a distance of forty kilometers.
Another gateway to Costa Natura is Malaga International Airport, which is eighty kilometers away.
You can always get a transfer to the airport if you do not intend to leave the resort. However, we suggest you rent a car at Malaga airport and use the toll highway Autopista AP-7 (also called Autopista del Mediterraneo) for an easy trip.
The Brasserie Costa Natura is Costa Natura’s exquisitely decorated restaurant and bar overlooking the pool and Mediterranean Sea from its sunny terraces. Enjoy comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by breathtaking sea views. From your morning coffee to a relaxing dinner, the Brasserie restaurant caters to your culinary needs with friendly and attentive service. It serves a variety of international cuisine with excellent food to please everyone, including children. Various entertainments are presented at the Brasserie restaurant. In high season there is always live music on Saturday and Wednesday nights, plus DJs every Monday. The restaurant also organizes different theme nights throughout the year.
